What is chemical peel ? 

 

A chemical peel is a skin treatment technique used to improve and smooth the texture of the skin, often facial skin.

This technique uses a chemical solution that rapidly exfoliate the skin allowing the dead skin cells to shed more effectively.

Chemical peel helps with keeping the dead skin cells and excess oil from clogging the hair follicles and pores.

The most likely used chemical peel is Glycolic Acid (AHA) derived from sugar canes.

Salicylic Acid (BHA) is close a cousin to AHA's and works much the same way.  BHA's are especially helpful in dissolving excess oil buildup within the pores and they tend to be less irritating than AHA's
